Role: Creative Director and Production Designer

Infusing movement and visual arts, Gunnar Montana’s work refuses to be defined. His artistry is an array of visual art installations, choreography, set design, costume design, transformation of atmosphere, and innovative movement, concepts, and ideas.

I’ve been working with Gunnar since 2018. Together we have built worlds ranging from Berlin night clubs, to underground bathhouses, to basement dens of serial killers. Collaborating with Gunnar is a unique pleasure — I build the architecture, he colors in the lines and fills the space with dance and music, and I finish it with powerful theatrical lighting. Our work together is cutting edge, queer, joyful and adventurous. Our inventive production and design choices creative Vegas style variety on an off-off-off-off-broadway budget.
