About Oona

Oona Curley is a Creative Director, Producer and Designer from New York City. Oona specializes in creating live and virtually synchronous events for the performing arts, museums and themed attractions, and corporate experiences. Their work has been seen from London’s West End to Las Vegas; from intimate basement theaters to state-of-the-art conference spaces; from digital streaming platforms to jumbotrons. Oona approaches every project with curiosity and executes with confidence.

Recently, Oona brought their creative production skills into the digital space. Oona led a team of UX designers, developers, and content creators to build digital solutions for gaming, audience response systems, e-Learning, and personalized meeting apps. These solutions supported a range of user bases: from remote training courses with 10 asynchronous users, to 1,000+ attendee live general sessions with real-time digital audience interaction.

Oona received their MFA in Lighting and Set Design from NYU/Tisch, and holds a BA in Architectural Studies and Engineering from Brown University. Oona is an associate artist with the Bearded Ladies Cabaret, a company member of Lightning Rod Special, and a proud member of USA 829. In their time off, Oona can be found on a bicycle, at a museum, or enjoying family time in their hometown of New York City.
